5 Apps To Stay Organized

Have you ever thought to your self while posting to all platforms of social media, writing out blog posts in notebooks, and then flipping through pages and said “well that took up too much time ..theres got to be an easier way” well here are some apps that will help with staying organized to the 9’s! Allow me to introduce to you 5 apps that will make your blogging life so much easier and you’ll feel like super women.. or superman once you’ve organized everything you need to all in one spot.

apps , evernote, dropbox, notes, music, facetime

Evernote –

  • Free or  $28.99/ yr for Plus OR $57.99/Yr for Premium
  • iPhone app? Yes
  • iPad app? Yes
  • Mac app? Yes
  • Apple watch? Yes
  • Android app? Yes
  • Used through the website? Yes

Let me just say that this app has transformed my organization skills completely, I’ve been able to go paperless and not have tons of notebooks lying around and flipping through pages trying to find what I wrote down the previous evening. With Evernote it is all in one spot and with the free version (what I Use For now) you can create “Notebooks” and put “Notes “ into them and keep everything labelled and tagged for exactly how you want it.

Google Drive –

  • Free or $1.99/$9.99 per month to upgrade
  • iPad app? Yes
  • iPhone app? Yes
  • Mac app? Yes (Downloaded through the website)
  • Android app? Yes
  • Used through the website? Yes

15GB Free

100GB $1.99/mnth

1T $9.99/mnth

10T $99.99/mnth

20T 199.99/mnth

30T 299.99/mnth

Personally I use iCloud but if your a non apple fan then this is a possible option for you, it is a cloud storage & file backup for all your photos, documents.. etc With 15 GB free it is a better deal than apple iCloud , as you only get 5GB free with iCloud.  Google Drive is simple to set up and you can get started using it in minutes, you can download an app for your Mac, iPhone and iPad and have everything in one spot between devices.  For sharing and editing documents between clients this can make both lives easier, there are options to have certain documents and files password protected between yourself and clients so only those with the password can access those files and everything stays in the cloud.

Trello –

  • Free
  • iPad app? Yes
  • iPhone app? Yes
  • Android app? Yes
  • Used through the website? Yes

“A Trello board is a list of lists, filled with cards, used by you and your team. It’s a lot more than that, though. Trello has everything you need to organize projects of any size.”

Trello is a collaboration tool that organizes your projects into boards. In one glance, Trello tells you what’s being worked on, who’s working on what, and where something is in a process. This is especially essential if you have a team of people all working on different projects and want to check what things have been worked on by your team. Also easy to keep track of projects while your away on business. Even if your at 36,000 ft and have wifi your all set to check up on your teams work.. cool!

Calendar – FREE

This is a standard app that comes with all apple devices and most likely other devices non apple too, It is easy to schedule in client meetings, and other necessary dates and it can be sync’d to your iPhone and tablets. Use the calendar app to its fullest by adding color coded appointments so you know what is what.

If you an apple fan you for sure know what this is.. and if not well I’ll explain it to you briefly here,iCloud is similar to Google drive but the amount of free GB’s compared to Apple’s I cloud is much different. For Apple you get 5GB Free and with Google Drive you get 15GB Free… see the difference and now I see why many people choice Google Drive over apple iCloud.

5GB Free

50GB $1.29/month

200GB $3.99/month

1T $12.99/month
